The Decision Sciences Department in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2021, pending final approval from the provost. The candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized research agenda that aligns with the Department’s mission. Preference will be given to candidates with research and teaching interests in statistical and/or computing aspects of modern, complex data, text mining, or closely related areas.
The position will have responsibility for teaching required and elective graduate and undergraduate courses in various areas: statistics, information systems, management science/operations research, and/or operations management. The standard teaching load for the position is two courses per semester. The candidate is expected to be highly active in our undergraduate and graduate specializations in Information Systems and Business Analytics. A primary consideration will be the candidate’s ability to significantly contribute to the Department’s new Master of Science in Business Analytics, which launched in Fall 2020. Applicants must have or be near completion of an appropriate doctoral degree, and should provide evidence of, or potential for, excellence in research, teaching, and service in a public research university setting.
