Existing Members
If you have an existing ISBA account, please login before proceeding to the renewal so that your membership will be added to your account. If you are unsure if you have an account or no longer have access to the email address for the account, please contact us before creating an additional account so that your membership history is retained and you do not lose eligibility for becoming an ISBA Fellow.

- Members who reside and work in countries with per capita GNI not exceeding $6,000 per person, and early career researchers who have graduated from a degree program in the last 5 years.
- Members who are fully retired and no longer engaged in paid employment.
- 2027–2031: The reduced fee is available to retired members regardless of their previous ISBA membership history.
- From 2032 onward: New applicants for retired membership must meet both of the following requirements: (1) Employment Status: They must be fully retired and no longer engaged in paid employment. (2) Membership History: They must have been an active ISBA member for the preceding five consecutive years. (3) Transitional Provision: Members who qualify for the reduced retired membership rate during 2027–2031 retain their eligibility after 2031, provided they continue renewing their membership.
