The Swiss Graduate Programs FoMICS “Foundations in Mathematics and Informatics for Computer Simulations in Science and Engineering” and DADSi “Data Analytics and Data-driven Simulations”, which are located at the Institute of Computational science, are pleased to invite you to the following events that will take place at USI later this year:
FoMICS-DADSi Summer School on Data Assimilation, from September 11th to 15th. The school will consist of 3 full days of lectures and 2 days of workshop. During the workshop, you will have the chance to present your own research, if you are already working in a related area. However, the school does not require any prior knowledge in the field, so it is a great opportunity for students and researchers to approach it for the first time, particularly for those working in computational science. Please visit our website to register: https://ics.usi.ch/index.php/news/285-fomics-dadsi-summer-school-on-data-assimilation
FoMICS Block Course on Functional Analysis, from September 3rd to 14th. The course will consist of 2 weeks of half-day lectures. It is for graduate students who wish to build a solid foundation in the subject.
