Bayesian Resources

ISBA provides the following resources to its members and the Bayesian community.

  • Mailing Lists: How to reach Bayesians through ISBA or SBSS
  • Meetings: Announcements of Conferences and workshops of interest to the Bayesian community
  • Open Positions:  The ISBA Jobs forum, which lists open positions. See the forum for how to post a job.
  • Bayesians Worldwide: A (self-contributed) list of Bayesians around the World
  • Bayesian Books: a list and short synopsis of a number of books published by ISBA members
  • Bayesian Abstracts: Self-contributed  archive of titles/abstracts of papers
  • Reverend Thomas Bayes: history and information about the founder of Bayesian statistics
  • StatProb: The Encyclopedia Sponsored by Statistics and Probability Societies
This inter-societal venture is a free, open source, online encyclopedia hosted by Springer, and run and developed via an Editorial Board comprised of editors representing several statistical societies. Former ISBA president Susie Bayarri represents ISBA on the editorial board. ISBA members are encouraged to contribute to the encyclopedia. This is a major new publication venture that has the potential to become a substantial resource for Bayesian communication, research and education.

And for the less serious, The Bayesian songbook which includes lyrics to songs  composed over the years for the famous Bayesian Cabarets! (and now videos from You-Tube of some of the acts!)
