Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Hong Kong, to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field including, but not limited to, statistics, computer science, or mathematics. The appointee will conduct research in Dr. Michael Zhang’s group. Current topics of the group include Bayesian statistics, machine learning, distributed computing, kernel methods, and information geometry. Qualified candidates should have an established publication record in at least one of the aforementioned topics. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
