Candidate Statement 2023
I am an associate professor of statistics at the University of California, Irvine. My research interests include Bayesian statistics, machine learning, nonparametric methods, and their applications in medicine, imaging, sociology, and sports analytics.
It is my great honor to be nominated for BNP Treasurer. I have some experience of service at ISBA and ASA, journal editorial activity, conference organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and I hope to have the opportunity to contribute to the continuing growth of the BNP section.
