Candidate Statement 2023
I am delighted to be nominated as a candidate for the ISBA Board of Directors.
I am currently a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Statistical Science of University College London. I have been an Associate Editor of Bayesian Analysis since 2022, and an Associate Editor of Computational Statistics & Data Analysis since 2019. I will also join the editorial board of Statistical Methods & Applications in 2024. I was a treasurer for the j-ISBA section (2015-2016), where I worked on establishing social media presence for this section. I have been doing research in Bayesian statistical methodology and applications since I started my PhD back in 2010 at the University of Warwick (how quickly time passes!). Regarding this nomination, one of my aims will be to promote initiatives that help expand ISBA’s reach and presence. I will also work on giving continuation to the efforts made by previous officers to ensure the high quality of the research promoted by ISBA, together with diversity and inclusion principles.
