The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for one or more open-rank tenure-track positions. We are open to candidates in all specialties within statistics, theoretical or in any area of application. Applicants at the Assistant Professor level should have a PhD in Statistics or closely related field by appointment start date, demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching, and show a commitment to contributing to inclusivity in the statistics profession. Applicants at the Associate or Full Professor level should have a PhD in Statistics or closely related field, the equivalent of at least 4 years’ experience in research (as evidenced by publication record and extramural funding), in teaching of both undergraduate and graduate courses, and in service to the profession. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses, have a promising research and publication agenda, and a commitment to university service and public outreach.
