ISBA’s Industrial Statistics Section is delighted to launch a new student competition. The next ISBA meeting will be virtual, so instead of posters, graduate students can give prerecorded contributed talks. Any student is eligible if (1) the talk is relevant to the industry, business, or information technology, (2) the student is a member of the Industrial Statistics section, and (3) the talk is about original research, possibly joint work with a faculty member.
The prize is $250. To enter the competition, send an email to Professor Lizanne Raubenheimer (l.raubenheimer@ru.ac.za), Secretary of the Industrial Statistics Section, by April 30, 2021. A committee will judge the presentations during the ISBA meeting.
