The Department of Statistical Science at Duke University is seeking a Coordinator of Undergraduate Training, Research, and Development. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in statistics (or a related quantitative field) and the drive and enthusiasm to manage operational, administrative, analytical, and technical details supporting a cohort of outstanding undergraduate students focused on careers in statistical and data science.

The Coordinator will have high-level technical skills, including in data analysis and programming using modern software (e.g., R/RStudio/Markdown, Python, HTML JavaScript). Academic instructional skills in statistical computing and experience in career counseling are a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with undergraduate students are required. This position will be a full-time position, with considerable time in the summer spent in program assessment and support for course planning activities.
