In this role, you will develop computational methods for probabilistic systems modeling of metabolism. You will work to develop High Performance Computing (HPC) methods that can model complex biological systems to enable the production of renewable bioproducts, deepen understanding of human diseases, and model the flow of mass and energy in complex ecosystems and microbial communities. In addition, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team at the intersection of computing and biological science, with access to both powerful supercomputing resources at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC), and other laboratory facilities.
