The Geographic Data Science (GDS) group at the US Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking a post-doctoral candidate for advancing and applying Bayesian approaches to data that is both spatial and spatio-temporal in nature. Successful candidates will work as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on fast-paced projects with an emphasis on delivering scalable, generalized solutions that impact the larger community. Creatively develop and apply approaches (with a Bayesian emphasis) to solving complex interdisciplinary fusion, inference, and network problems in the geographic data sciences.
