How to reach the Bayesian Community

Bayes News: ISBA hosts three email lists of interest to the Bayesian community:

News and Announcements:       news@bayesian.org
Conferences and Workshops:    conferences@bayesian.org
Jobs and Openin                          jobs@bayesian.org

Announcements going to these lists will reach almost 2500 people interested in Bayesian statistics!   These lists combine the former "bayes-news" list hosted by CMU and the Valenicia mailing list, created and maintained by Jose Bernardo. Announcements sent to any of the lists are also available to the general public under the Bayes News Forums.  Anyone may send announcements by email to any of the forum email address.  If your message is approved by the forum moderator it will appear in the online forum and be distributed to anyone who has subscribed to the forum email list. If you are a new member, you must "opt-in" to receive  announcements; see Receiving/Posting by Email for more details on managing email subscriptions and posting guidelines. ISBA respects the privacy of its members and does not make our
membership list available to third parties;  the ISBA membership list is used only  for Membership Renewals, Elections or matters that pertain to ISBA business.

Members of the American Statistical Association (ASA)'s Section on Bayesian Statistical Science (SBSS) may submit announcements to all SBSS members (except those who have opted out of receiving such mailings) by following the on-line directions. At present that list includes about 1500 members.

Announcements of interest to ISBA members may also be submitted for publication in the quarterly ISBA Bulletin, by sending e-mail requests to bulletin@bayesian.org or for inclusion in an appropriate part of the ISBA Website, by sending an e-mail request to the webmaster.
