Registering your account for the first time, and account management thereafter

  • Registering a User Account for the First Time
    • Go to the User Login page of the ISBA website
    • Click “Create new account”.
    • Enter a chosen username -- this can be name or email address.
    • Enter your email address. 
    • Then enter your first and last names in the relevant boxes, and other address information. Click the “Create new
      account” button.
    • You will then receive an email from ISBA with a temporary password.
    • Return to the membership login page and log in with your username and temporary
      password.
    • To change your password, click the “My Account" link in the top navigational panel. Click the
      “Edit” tab. Here you will be able to change your email address and/or your password. Click
      “Save” after you have made the changes.
  • Viewing/Editing Your Personal Information
    Once you have a registered account (whether member or non-member) you can now
    edit personal information as you like. Log in, then:
    • Click “My Account” in the top navigational menu.
    • Click “Edit”.   Enter your personal information and click “Save”.
  • Viewing Your Membership Details
    • Click “My Account” in the top navigational menu.
    • Click "View Contact Record” at the bottom of the page
    • Click "Memberships" You will see details about your current memberships.
    • Other tabs will list your past Contributions, Events and Activities.
      • Subscribe to News updates by email
        Registered users may receive news and announcements about upcoming conferences, positions etc through the new Bayes-News forums.   To receive emails.
  • Click "My Account" at the top Navigation menu
  • Click Forum/E-mail Integration.  Check the boxes for all forums to which you wish to receive email updates.
  • Click "Subscribe" 
  • If you wish to send posts via email through another email address, please enter them under the Additional email address field and click "Add an Additional Email".  You will receive an email from the system with a URL that will allow you to verify the account.
  • You may see a message indicating that you may not post; in this case you may submit posts but they must be approved by a moderator before being sent out to the list.
  • Signing Up For or Renewing Membership
    • Go to “Membership Signup/Renewal”  under the Membership menu
    • Choose your desired membership type.
    • Enter your credit card and billing information.
    • Click “Continue” and proceed as instructed.
    • If you choose to pay by check, make sure to print out your form and mail it together with the check to the specified address.
  • Viewing All Members (Members Only)
    Any member -- and only a member -- can see a list of names of other members.
    • Click “CiviCRM” in the left navigational panel.
    • In the Search menu at the top, select "Find Contacts"
    • Find the row labeled “Current Members (Smart Group)” in the result table. Click “Members”
      link in that row.
    • A list of all current members is shown. Clicking the name of a member will bring up his/her
      detailed information.
  • Making a Donation
    To donate to any of the ISBA administered award and travel funds:
    • Click “Contribute” 
    • Enter your donation amounts.
    • Enter your credit card and billing information. Alternatively, you can check the “I will send
      payment by check” box.
    • Click “Continue” and proceed as instructed.
    • If you choose to pay by check, make sure to print out your receipt (sent to your email
      address) and mail it together with the check to the specified address.
