Membership
The International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA) was founded in 1992 to promote the development and application of Bayesian analysis useful in the solution of theoretical and applied problems in science, industry and government. By sponsoring and organizing meetings, publishing the electronic journal of Bayesian statistics Bayesian Analysis, the ISBA Bulletin and the ISBA website, ISBA provides a focal point for those interested in Bayesian analysis and its applications. The Bayes News forums provide up-to-date information to the community of statisticians and scientists interested in Bayesian Analysis and have over 2000 subscribers. ISBA is sponsor or co-sponsor of international conferences on Bayesian statistics, including the biennial ISBA World meetings, Bayesian Nonparametrics and Objective Bayes workships as well as regional meetings affiliated with ISBA Chapters, and endorses other meetings of interest to the Bayesian community and offers member discounts on registration. ISBA dues and other funds support travel awards for graduate students and junior researchers. ISBA administers several prestigious prizes, including the DeGroot Prize, Lindley Prize, Mitchell Prize, and Savage award. Contributions to support travel awards, as well as the other prizes that ISBA administers, are always needed. Please consider making a donation today!

Life membership supports the ISBA Lifetime Members Junior Researcher Award, so that junior researchers may participate in an ISBA World meeting. Current membership rates for 2012 are
- $15 Student
- $15 Reduced Rate (members from countries with per capita GNP does not exceed $6000/person) (3-year membership is a$45)
- $50 Regular (3-year membership is $150)
- $131 Joint ISBA/IMS (25% Discount on IMS Membership)
- $750 Life Membership for members over 50 (15 times annual rate); members under 50 pay $50 for every year under 50.
Section memberships are $5 each.
