The Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid will be
offering 10 scholarships at the Master student level in the spring of 2011.
These scholarships are associated to the Mathematical Engineering and the
Business Administration and Quantitative Methods Master and PhD programs at
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. They are conditional on the pursuit of a
specialization in Statistics within the programs.

The selected candidates would be expected to join the Master programs on
September 1st, 2011. They would receive a yearly grant of 14,000 euros
(before taxes) for two years, renewable for an additional period of up to
four years (associated to the PhD program), conditional on their academic
and research performance. They would have responsibilities as Teaching
Assistants in those subjects and degrees in which the Department is
involved.
