Position: Assoc/Full Professor, Tenured
The Institute of Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) in
conjunction with the Department of Medicine is seeking a full time
faculty leader for the Biostatistics Unit of its recently acquired NIH
funded CTSA. We seek an individual with a strong foundation in
biostatistics and an established research program.

Position Title: Associate or Full Professor (with tenure), Department of
Medicine, and Unit Leader, ICTS Biostatistics and Study Design.

Duties & Responsibilities: We seek an individual with a nationally
recognized program of research in biostatistics/statistics or a related
quantitative discipline at the level commensurate with associate or full
Professor. This person will take a leadership role in developing and
integrating statistical methodology connected to specific areas of
medical research that are of interest to the candidate. This individual
will be responsible for leading the Biostatistical Unit of the ICTS,
representing the ICTS on national CTSA committees in the NIH.

Position Qualifications: Qualifications include a Doctoral degree in
biostatistics/statistics or a related quantitative science is required.
Proven record of graduate level teaching, experience in clinical or
translational biostatistics, and mentoring is expected. Excellent oral
and written communication skills are also required. Since this is a
senior level position, there is an expectation of demonstrating a record
of grant funded research.

Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with experience as well as
comprehensive benefits through the University of California. In
addition, successful candidates can expect start-up packages that will
allow the further strengthening of already solid research programs.
