General Posting Guidelines:  Please post topics of interest to the Bayesian community.  Posts that are viewed as inappropriate to the moderators will be not be published.  Anyone abusing the lists by submitting spam may have their account revoked.

To Create a New Topic by Email: You may create a new topic  by sending an email to the forum address. The Subject line of your email will become the Subject of the new topic, and the body of your message will become the body of the topic.  All URLs and email addresses will automatically become links. When you create a new topic by email you will not receive a copy of the post by email. All posts submitted to the public forums will require moderator approval.

Replying to a Topic by Email: If you are subscribed to a Forum, you will receive an email any time someone posts a new topic or replies to an existing topic with the subject of that post/reply. You may reply to these emails in a normal fashion and your response will be posted to the forum as a reply to that topic and distributed to all other email subscribers (after moderator approval for public forums). As with creating new topics, the sender will not receive a copy of the post by email.

Posting by Email Guidelines: If you reply to a post, please do not copy the entire contents of the previous post in your message. Copy blocks of text only for clarity. The forum will include the previous post as well as your post so including the previous email in your reply will lead to long posts appearing in the forum. If you cc yourself on a post, please do not reply to the copy as this will create a new topic.
